How to Install Lightroom Presets on Mobile and Desktop

THANK YOU so much for buying my presets! May it help you to be creative with your photos.

How to Install Lightroom Presets on Mobile

Before We Get Started, Please make sure you have the free Lightroom CC mobile app installed.

Step 1

After purchasing the Presets download the .zip file on your phone.

Select the folders and continue with extracting the .zip files.

After extracting the files open the folder “Mobile Presets”.

In this folder, you find the DNG files (Mobile Presets for Lightroom).

Select all DNG files and choose the share option.

Choose to share the DNG files to Lightroom CC mobile app.

Step 1.1: Skip This Step If You Have Successfully Completed “Step 1”

Save all the DNG files to your phone.  If you don’t see “Copy to Lightroom” then you will need to save all the images to your phones/gallery folder first.

Now open your Lightroom Mobile app, and choose the ‘add images’ icon. Select all the images you just saved to the gallery folder, and tap add. Note: make sure you have saved all the DNG files.

Select all DNG files and press the add button.

Step 2

For creating presets for your LR mobile application you will need to do this for each file/preset (Don't worry! You only need to do it once). Choose the “option” icon.

Now open your Lightroom Mobile app, and choose the ‘add images’ icon. Select all the images you just saved to the gallery folder, and tap add. Note: make sure you have saved all the DNG files.

Type in the preset name, make sure it is the same as the file name e.g. Atlantic, Ocean, Sunset, etc.

Create a new Preset group, and name it after the preset collection you’ve got, in this case, it’s called “Drone Adventures”. You only need to do this once, as the rest of the collection will be put in this group.

Done. Now you’ve successfully created one preset. Please repeat this step and finish creating the rest of the collection.

Step 3

You’ve successfully imported all the presets. Now you can apply them to your photos.  Pick a photo, and choose “Presets” menu.

Now you can pick a preset. Under the new group, you just created, in this case, “LG Drone Adventures” go through all the presets until you find the one that you like.

You can apply simple adjustments: if the photo turns out too bright or too dark, just tap the ‘Light' menu, and move the ‘Exposure' dial.

How to Install Lightroom Presets on Desktop

Before we get started, please make sure you have the latest Lightroom installed on your computer.

Download the .zip file with all presets (.xmp) on your computer after purchasing them. Extract the .zip file (desktop version) with the presets that you downloaded. The desktop presets should be in a folder called either Desktop Presets Drone Adventure/Bali/Nature is Calling/Travel Essentials (depending on which pack you purchased)

Open Lightroom CC and click on the edit icon at the top right. The icon looks like three sliders—three horizontal bars with circles on them. At the bottom on the screen you will see a Presets button.  The presets panel is now revealed.

Click on the icon of three dots at the top. In the dropdown menu select Import Presets. Place the preset folder and restart Lightroom. Your new presets should appear in the Presets panel.  All of the presets will now be listed in the Presets panel.

Troubleshooting:

Make sure the folder you copied into the Develop Presets folder actually holds the presets and not another folder.

Do NOT check “Store Presets With Catalog.” This setting is found to the left of “Show Lightroom Presets Folder” in your Preferences menu. If you have multiple catalogs, your presets will not show up in additional ones.
